Use your insurance benefits for your glasses.

Or Enroll in our in-house plan for instant savings.

Your vision care plan can provide credits and discounts toward your glasses purchase. Care plans vary widely from carrier to carrier and even between employers. There are 2 ways you can use your vision plan benefits.

  1. Complete your order online and send a copy of your invoice to your insurance company to be reimbursed.
  2. Contact us BEFORE you order so we can verify your plan and get its specific details. We'll apply your benefits and manually put in your glasses order for you.

For option 2, don't complete your order online just yet.. Here's what to do:

  • Browse the frames and make note of your favorites.
  • Look over your lens and lens add-on options, and choose which match your needs.
  • Contact our office so we can verify your benefits. You have 3 options:
    • send us a message through the 'Contact Us' page
    • email us at info@drjacksoneyeglasses.com
    • text us at (770) 629-4351.
Please have your insurance info handy. We'll need to know your provider and ID number. (Some providers use the last 4 digits of your SSN as your ID number.) Forgive us if we do not respond right away. Remember, we are also a doctor's office and sometimes we may get a little busy with guests.

It's easy to use your Flex Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) for your glasses.

As long as you were given a card with a Mastercard or Visa logo, you can use it at checkout. Just enter the details the same you would for a debit or credit card. You will get an itemized receipt for your order that your can submit to your provider to prove the purchase was for an 'health product.'

Why Blue Light lenses?

Blue Light lenses are a special type of lens that blocks harmful light (similar to UV) from entering our eyes. In large doses, like from the sun, this light can damage the nerves of the eye and cause cataracts. Exposure to this light from digital devices can cause eye irritation and vision fatigue, a condition called Digital Eye Strain.

Even with 20/20 vision, you or your children may be suffering from Digital Eye Strain caused by hours of staring at computer screens, smart phones or tablets. With the increase in Telecommuting and "tele-schooling" we are all increased risk. These are common symptoms of Digital Eye Strain:

  • Reduced attention span
  • Irritability
  • Blurred vision
  • Trouble focusing
  • Eye strain
  • Dry or irritated eyes
  • Headaches
  • Neck/shoulder pain
  • Trouble falling asleep at night
  • Poor behavior in kids

If you are experiencing any of the above symptoms, it's always a good idea to get a comprehensive eye exam to check for other potential issues such as the need for prescription vision correction or eye alignment issues. But in the meantime, simply wearing Blue Light lenses when using digital devices can improve visual comfort and reduce symptoms of Digital Eye Strain.

Taking frequent breaks and reorganizing your work space can also make an impact. Read more at ThinkAboutYourEyes.com
